Axiom

Terms of Service

Last updated: May 28, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Axiom. By creating an account or using Axiom, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Please read Section 3 (No Financial Advice) and Section 8 (Assumption of Risk) carefully — they are central to how Axiom works.

1. What Axiom Is

Axiom is a software toolthat screens markets, scores signals with AI, and — when you enable automation — places orders on a brokerage account that you own and connect with your own API keys (the "BYOK" model). Axiom is not a broker-dealer, exchange, custodian, or registered investment adviser, and it does not hold, manage, or have custody of your money or securities.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

3. No Financial Advice

Axiom does not provide investment, financial, legal, or tax advice and is not a fiduciary. All signals, scores, analyses, position explanations, and other outputs are informational and generated algorithmically. They are not personalized recommendations and must not be relied upon as a basis for any investment decision. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any trade. If you need advice, consult a licensed professional.

4. The BYOK Model — You Authorize and Control All Trading

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

6. Paid-Tier API Activation Window

Certain paid features depend on data-source API keys that are manually provisioned by the developer. Because Axiom is operated by a solo developer, provisioning is not instant.

7. No Guarantee of Performance or Returns

Axiom makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee of any trading result, profit, income, or return. Markets involve substantial risk of loss. Past or simulated performance does not predict future results. Automated systems can and do lose money. See the Risk Disclosure for details.

8. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that you accept all risk arising from your use of Axiom and from any trading activity on your connected account, including losses caused by market conditions, AI or data errors, software bugs, latency, outages, incorrect or stale data, third-party provider failures (broker, data sources, hosting), or misconfiguration. You are solely responsible for all trading decisions and outcomes on your account.

9. Third-Party Services

Axiom integrates third-party services (including Alpaca, Anthropic, Stripe, Clerk, Vercel, Supabase, and data providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms, and Axiom is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, actions, or omissions. Outages or changes by these providers may affect Axiom's functionality.

10. Acceptable Use

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Axiom does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that signals or data will be accurate or timely.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axiom and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service — even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Axiom in the three (3) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axiom and its operator from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your trading activity, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Suspension & Termination

You may stop using Axiom and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13) will survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. (Specify your jurisdiction here before launch.) Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
